CENTENNIAL CLUBS

INSTRUCTIONS:

Round 1: If you requested enrollment for your child(ren) during Round 1, official placements were emailed on Friday September 25th.

Round 2 enrollment is first come, first served. If a Club is full when you attempt to enroll at that point, you may choose to be added to the waitlist. Registration will close for most clubs on Saturday October 3rd at 8pm.

If you would like to cancel your child(ren)'s enrollment, please sign in and cancel it there, so that we can offer their spot to the next child on the waitlist.

Capacity limits vary for each Club in order to be appropriate for the different activities involved.

New to Centennial Clubs? You can get ready at any time, even when no registration round is open: sign in to create your account and enter your children's information, so that when registration opens all you need to do is pick clubs.

Emails confirming enrollment and important Clubs information come from noreply@centennialclubs.org. If you are not receiving them, you may need to add this email address to your white list. Please check your Spam and Promotions folders or reach out to us at enrollment@centennialclubs.org.

Waitlists: Waitlist movement will continue into the third week of the session for most clubs. A few clubs do not allow new students in after the first meeting, and a few other clubs allow new students to join at any point throughout the session.

Unless otherwise communicated for specific cases: Morning Clubs begin at 7:45am. There is no early drop-off. Afternoon Clubs will end at 5:00pm. Pick-up at 5:00 is imperative. *** If you need before or after care, please refer to Discovery Link. ***

• Creative Crayon Crew

• Pancake Palooza

  Monday morning 7:45am–8:45am · Grades 3–5

  Let's get creative with a breakfast classic. We'll warm up the griddles and follow a unique recipe every week. Taste test your sweet and savory creations and see if you have a new favorite. ✶ meets 6 times (no school 10/12)

• Cheer & Shine

  Monday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades K–2

  Get ready to move, cheer, and show your Centennial Crew spirit! We’ll learn cheers, chants, motions, jumps, and simple routines while practicing teamwork and building confidence. No experience necessary—everyone is welcome. Come ready to use your voice, learn some new moves, and cheer your heart out for our Centennial Crew! ✶ meets 6 times (no school 10/12)

• Grace & Grooves

  Monday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades 3–5

  Ever wanted to walk into a room like you own it? In Grace & Grooves, you'll pick up cool tricks for meeting new people, mastering the fanciest table manners (way beyond "don't talk with your mouth full"), and chatting like a pro. Then we trade it all in for dance moves — a classic partner two-step and a group line dance you'll get to show off at our big finale party! Come ready to laugh, make new friends, and earn Groove Bucks along the way. No experience needed — just bring your best manners and your dancing shoes! ✨ Grand Finale Showcase on November 9th — invite your family to watch you shine! ✶ meets 5 times (no school 10/12, will not meet 11/16)

• Spelling Club

  Tuesday morning 7:45am–8:45am · Grades 2–5

  This club is for students who love language arts, love to spell and learn new words, their origins, parts of speech, and word definitions. We will focus on mastering the spelling words from the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and Centennial will host an inter-school spelling bee, competing against other DPS schools, and will eventually have a chance to send students to City and/or State competitions! ✶ meets 7 times + bees

• Cardboard Kingdom

  Tuesday morning 7:45am–8:45am · Grades 3–5

  What can you build with cardboard? Almost anything! In Cardboard Club, students will turn ordinary cardboard into extraordinary creations. Students will have the freedom to design, build, invent, experiment, and problem-solve as they explore the possibilities of cardboard. Create a gumball machine, puppet, wearable mask, robot, game, stop-motion, sculpture, vehicle, or even an entire cardboard kingdom! Students can work individually or collaborate with friends to create imaginative worlds and structures. Cut. Build. Create. Experiment. Rebuild. This club is all about creative problem-solving, collaboration, and turning a simple piece of cardboard into something amazing. ✶ meets 7 times

• Drawing Club

  Let your child’s creativity take the lead! Drawing Club is a fun, relaxed space where young artists can explore drawing, build confidence, and express themselves through art. ✶ meets 7 times

• Run Club

  Tuesday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades K–3

  Running is fun! We will be working our bodies and working as a team to accomplish our individual running goals. Through a mix of warm ups, intervals, long runs, games, and cool downs we will be making sure we take care of our bodies while improving our running pace and endurance. Parents are welcome to join in, especially for our final session Fun Run! ✶ meets 7 times

• Dragon's Lair Club

  Join us for fun and exciting sword games with Renaissance Adventures’ safe foam swords! This physically active program promotes teamwork, fitness, coordination, and strategic thinking. Our experienced Quest Leaders ensure an inclusive and physically and emotionally safe environment for cooperative play. Renaissance Adventures offers over 20 variants of sword games, including Shapeshifter, Wolfsbane, Scorpion's Den, Zombie Revenge, Lords and Champions, Ninja Blade, and the beloved Spy, which involves bluffing, detecting bluffs, and swordplay. ✶ meets 7 times

• Upcycled Art

  Wednesday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades K–3

  Join us after school to create unique works of art with recycled materials including cardboard boxes, old clothing, egg cartons, cereal boxes, and more. We'll listen to music, get crafty, and brainstorm ways to transform ordinary household items into our very own canvas. Let's get creative and turn trash into treasure! ✶ meets 7 times

• Beadventures Club

  Wednesday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades 3–5

  Get ready to bead, create, and have fun! In Beadventures Club, we’ll make a new and exciting pony bead craft every week. From colorful fidgets to fun bag charms, tapestries, and more, there will always be something new to make and take home! Kids will have the chance to explore their creativity, experiment with colors and patterns, and make unique creations they can be proud of. No experience is needed—just bring your imagination and get ready to bead the day away! ✶ meets 7 times

• Ukulele Club

  Wednesday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades 3–5

  In ukulele club we'll learn: ukulele basics, music fundamentals, and our first songs on the ukulele! We'll play games, get to know each other and have fun exploring the ukulele and creating music together. No experience needed. Ukuleles will be available for use in class, but if you have your own please feel free to bring it. ✶ meets 7 times

• Dance & Flow

  Let’s start our days with a mix of different types of movement! We’ll begin with a stretch and warm up to wake up our bodies and minds, then we’ll learn dance combinations to a fun music mix! We’ll finish with some strengthening workout moves and a yoga cool down. If you know Ms Raychel, you know you’ll be starting your days with FUN! ✶ meets 7 times

• Breakin’ with Coach Cuba

  Join Coach Cuba of the BBoy Factory for a high-energy introduction to the art of breakdancing! Students will learn beginner breakin’ moves, build coordination, and explore the creative expression of Hip-Hop culture. This club helps kids grow confidence, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of self while having fun through movement and music. ✶ meets 5 times (no school 10/9, 10/23, 10/30, extra meeting 12/4)

• Mindful Mornings

  Friday morning 7:45am–8:45am · Grades 1–5

  Is your morning feeling hectic? Is it difficult to make it to school on time? Mindful Morning is here to help! Start off your school day slowly with mindfulness practices of all sorts. We will do some yoga, some calming crafts, and practice techniques for bringing mindfulness back during the day. Hope to see you there! ✶ meets 4 times (no school 10/9, 10/23, 10/30)

• Friendship Bracelet Club

• Ride and Roll Club

  Friday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades K–2

  Registration closed

  Grab your wheels and come ride with us! We’ll cruise through courses, tackle fun obstacles, practice our riding skills, and cheer each other on. Open to K-2 riders who are comfortable on a bike or scooter. Bring your helmet, bring your wheels, and let’s roll! ✶ meets 5 times (no school 10/9, 10/23, 10/30, extra meeting 12/4)

• Intro to Karate

  Friday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades K–5

  This Karate Club will focus on introducing students to the basics of Martial Arts. Students will receive lessons on the core values of Karate: Respect, Self Discipline, Integrity, Responsibility, and Perseverance; throughout the program, they will also build confidence and grit as they struggle with new and challenging skills to discover they can do hard things. They will also improve physical fitness and coordination alongside learning critical self-defense strategies. We will conclude with a graduation at our karate school where the students will perform a short demonstration of what they have learned for their parents, break a board using their new confidence and skills, and then be promoted to white belt! ✶ meets 5 times (no school 10/9, 10/23, 10/30, will not meet 10/16, extra meeting 12/4 + graduation at Red Dragon on 12/5)

• Gym Club

  Friday afternoon 4pm–5pm · Grades 2–3

  Does your kid have leftover energy at the end of the school day? Let 'em loose and have some fun in Gym Club! Barely organized chaos with balls, hula hoops, and whatever else we can find in Ms. Marcley's closet of wonder. We'll play games, make up games or just run around like wild chickens. Their choice! Fun will be had in a safe and welcoming environment. ✶ meets 4 times (no school 10/9, 10/23, 10/30)
